a. Bachelor’s Degree or higher Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university. (Determination of “related field” shall be made by the Division)
b. Bachelor’s Degree in a non-related field from a regionally accredited college or university plus one of the following:
• Four years of experience in early childhood education
• Child Development Associate Credential (CDA)
• Birth – Pre K Credential
c. Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field, plus six (6) years of experience in Early Childhood Education
d. Eight years of experience in Early Childhood Education and completion of one of the following, within two years of employment: a
• Child Development Associate Credential
• Birth – Pre K Credential
• Director’s Credential or the equivalent
• Technical Certificate in Early Childhood Education

TESTING CENTER ASSISTANT

(Full-Time, Non-Classified Position, Nashville Campus)

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for scheduling, supervising, and providing all aspects of testing and assessment for clients and students on the Nashville campus and other campuses if necessary. Provide testing and assessment for business and industry as contracted through Workforce Development and Education. Supervise Assessment/Testing Center part-time staff. Serve as GED examiner.

REQUIREMENTS

Associate degree

Good organizational skills

Excellent customer service skills

Proficient in computer skills

Experience in an educational setting preferred

SALARY

$24,000 range, plus an excellent benefits package that includes health, dental, and life insurances, retirement plan, paid vacation and sick leave, and educational assistance for employees and their dependents.

ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST III

(Assistant to the Chancellor)

(Classified Position, C112, De Queen Campus)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assistant to the Chancellor will assist the Chancellor of the College by functioning as office manager, scheduler, researcher, meetings coordinator, and receptionist. This person will first and foremost create an extremely professional and helpful atmosphere to internal and external stakeholders that deal with the Chancellor’s office at UA Cossatot. This person will maintain an efficient/effective office and serve as liaison to the UA Cossatot Board of Visitors, schedule appointments, arrange meetings and travel for the Chancellor. This person will also conduct some research, compile data for selected projects, and oversee the Administrative Council meeting processes.

REQUIREMENTS

Associate degree or higher

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Word processing and spreadsheet proficiency (Design software a plus)

Must be very organized with attention to detail

Must bring energy to the position

Must be EXTREMELY punctual

SALARY
