The Park Committee wants to thank everyone who have been coming out for ballgames and supporting the concession stand. They encourage everyone to think of a way they can support the park and our community by participating in activities at the park.

They also want to remind everyone that the Fourth of July is just around the corner. Vendors and booths are needed for the Fourth of July. The Park Committee is looking at co-ed softball, bingo, vendors, and other activities for the Fourth of July. If you are interested in participating, call City Hall at 870-289-3261. 

The Lockesburg Fire Department’s annual Fish Fry is scheduled for April 28^th, at the Fire Department, beginning at 5:00 p.m. This is an annual fund raiser for the Fire Department. Dues for Rural Fire protection can be paid at the time of the fundraiser or at Lockesburg City Hall during regular business hours. Political candidates for the upcoming election have been invited to attend.
