Horatio Public Schools

Jr. High Science Fair
December 10th, 2009

The Jr. High Science Fair was held December 10th from 5-7pm in the Horatio Public School Cafeteria.  There were 71 science fair project entries among the 7th and 8th graders that participated.  The project categories ranged from behavioral sciences to engineering with some of the projects being conducted by groups of students while others were individual.  Steve Cole, Loren Hinton, Jason Carlton, and Liz Trimble were kind enough to take on this rather difficult task of judging these projects.  All in all the science fair was a success because that night there were approximately 137 students in Horatio, Arkansas thinking about science and where it could take them.
