Our own Jason Carlton with a turkey he harvested during the opening weekend, north of De Queen. The gobbler had an 8 1/2 inch beard with 3/4 inch spurs and was called in by Jason's turkey guide, Ronnie Williamson.

KaLee (the one on the right in the picture) got her first turkey of the year on opening weekend of the 2008 Spring Turkey Season.  I don't know who was more excited me or her.  Of course little sis (Danielle, the one on the left) went with us and got to see her her big sis in action.  The turkey came to our decoys gobbling at 15 steps right before the kill shot.  This is KaLee's 3rd Turkey in her lifetime and hopefully not her last.  We all enjoy hunting and eating what we bag.  This year fried wild turkey was on the menu the next day for lunch.  Kids are our future for everything and we need to get kids involved in all the activities of life that we want to preserve for future generations.  Hunting is one thing I believe is a great family activity and helps to grow our young folks to appreciate what the Lord has given us to be stewards over. Proud Dad Greg Duggan

J.D. Brinkley on his 3rd birthday with his dad, Joe Brinkley.  They both caught fish at the same time.  This is the 1st fish that J.D. has ever hooked on his own.  By the way....J.D.'s fish is the big fish in the picture.
